Details:

Participants will learn about the basics of freeform modelling using Blender, a free and open-source software. They will be guided through the modelling process and learn about the various applications of 3D modelling, with examples from game engines, metaverse platforms, as well as 3D printing. Students will go through the beginning steps of a freeform modelling process. By the end of the workshop, students should be able to create their own 3D model, add appropriate textures, and understand the basic principles of lighting and rendering in Blender.

Reminder: All participants should bring their own laptop with Blender installed. Installation guide will be sent to all participants before the workshop.
