Share your photos with us at the Shaw Auditorium! This open call is for all students (UG and PG), faculty, and staff to have a photography showcase.

    Submission

    Participants are invited to submit up to 15 high-resolution photographs (along with photo descriptions) by filling out the entry form provided in the link below. Please include links to your photos in the entry form.

    Participants with selected photos will be notified via email by the end of April and displayed at the Shaw Auditorium during the period May 13 , 2024 to May 26, 2024. 

    Please note that if you are not selected, you will not receive any separate notification.

    Submission Guidelines

    1. Photographs must be in digital format, recommends images to be at least 2000 pixels on the longest side.
    2. Photographs that include sculptures, statues, paintings, and other works of art will be accepted as long as they do not violate any applicable laws.
    3. The photograph, in its entirety, must be a single work of original material taken by the participant. By entering the exhibition, the participant represents, acknowledges, and warrants that the submitted photograph is an original work created solely by the participant, that the photograph does not infringe on the copyrights, trademarks, moral rights, rights of privacy/publicity or intellectual property rights of any person or entity, that the photograph does not breach the contract with any third party and that no other party has any right, title, claim, or interest in the photograph, nor does the photograph violate any applicable law.
    4. The photograph must not contain obscene, provocative, defamatory, sexually explicit, or otherwise objectionable or inappropriate content.
    5. Before submitting a work, the participant is responsible for taking all steps necessary to protect the right of publicity and other rights of persons depicted in the work, including but not limited to obtaining their permission, to avoid any problems related to the infringement of these rights.
    6. The final print size and framing specifications will be at the discretion of the Shaw Auditorium Unit.
    7. The number of selected work, positioning and placement of the work within the Shaw Auditorium will be determined by the Shaw Auditorium Unit.
