“Sustainability at CLP: Powering Sustainability and Building a Utility of the Future”

4:30pm - 6:00pm
Mixed-Mode

As a leading responsible electric utility in the Asia-Pacific Region, CLP has always been driven by its purpose of powering the sustainable development of communities in which the Group operates by providing reliable and affordable electricity to customers with minimal impact to the environment. To achieve this, CLP is leveraging on new and emerging technologies to aid the progressive decarbonisation of the CLP portfolio, empower customers in making better energy choices, enhance performance operations, and to evolve and grow CLP’s business along the transition into a “Utility of the Future”. The objective of this seminar is to give students and participants an overview of the topics which CLP identifies as the most material when integrating sustainability into the centre of its business strategy and operations, ranging from climate change, technology, cyber resilience and data protection, to workforce transformation. The seminar also explores CLP’s stakeholder engagement efforts to drive opportunities and address challenges in order to realise its sustainability goals.
