HKUST-Bright Dream Robotics Joint Research Institute (HBJRI) is going to organize an online Frontier Technologies Seminar on 15 April 2020 (Wed). Representatives from Leigh & Orange (L&O) Architects will give a presentation on their experience on Modular Integrated Construction (MiC) and Building Information Modeling (BIM)  to audience from both HKUST and Bright Dream Robotics (BDR). The Innocell project in Hong Kong Science Park will be used as a case study for the application of MiC, including design concepts, related statutory matters, quality control and inspection system, etc. The speaker will also talk about the design of the latest HKUST student residence project, its MiC study and DfMA application.


HKUST members are welcome to attend the seminar to learn about the latest development in the construction field, real applications of new construction technologies in Hong Kong, and get a glimpse of the latest student residence project in HKUST.
