Call for Proposals - Seed Fund Award Programme

The SSRI was established in 1992 with a HK$20 million donation from the Sino Land Company, aiming at developing vigorous applied research and commercialization programs related to computer software that emphasize service to Hong Kong and the region. The Institute is seeking for proposals that require seed funds to encourage faculty to lead the preparation of collaborative applied research projects that promote software ecosystems in the use of artificial intelligence, data science and software engineering to solve problems of benefit to industry.

Funding Threshold

The funding amount for seed projects will be up to HKD 100K.

Application Procedure

Proposals will be collected and reviewed by every 3 months. Result will be released two months after submission.
