Water for Free Exhibition

Did you know that only 0.0075% of the planet's water is available to feed its 7.6 billion people? At times, scarce water resources are being wasted.

Every liter of bottled water is produced from at least 2 liters of water, not including the water footprint embedded in making the plastic bottles and the transportation across the supply chain. The whole world consumes around 378.5 billion liters of bottled water annually, enough to overflow 150,000 Olympic-sized swimming pools.

In fact, there are water dispensers and drinking fountains available in the city, and it is easier for us to get rid of our reliance on bottled water.

The “Water for Free” campaign sponsored by Great Eagle Group, has gathered water-related stories and tips at the Exhibition on Water Conservation.
Come and learn more at the exhibition in Hong Kong Jockey Club atrium @ HKUST from 2-7 April.
