Talk Description

In this talk, Rem Suen will share his career and working experiences. In particular, he will share why he chose to work in startup rather than in the IT department of the banking industry. By sharing his past project experiences, he will tell you why you should work in startup, also what you should expect when working in startup. Moreover, he will share some interview tips on what you should prepare if you intend to work in startup. In addition, he will share the trend of new technology, so you can equip yourself for your future career.

Speaker's Biography

Rem Suen was graduated in 2008 with BEng EEIC and had a MA in Quantative Analysis for Business. He is currently a Partner & Director at Red Soldier Limited (RedSo), which is a technology solution company and the 1st Google Cloud Platform partner in Hong Kong since 2013. He has been working in the Software Application Industry for over 10 years. Before joining RedSo, he was also working in the banking industry as Analyst Programmer & Production Support.
