Hong Kong Scholars Program 2021 (Mainland-Hong Kong Joint Postdoctoral Fellows Program)

香江学者计划

 

The Program is jointly launched by the Society of Hong Kong Scholars and the China National Postdoctoral Council under the Ministry of Human Resources and Social Security. Selected “Hong Kong Scholars” (i.e. the postdoctoral fellows from the Mainland) will come to Hong Kong to commence postdoctoral research work under the supervision of professors at various universities in Hong Kong. This program will help professors of Hong Kong solicit high quality PhD graduates from leading universities in the Mainland, thus promoting academic and scientific exchanges and collaboration between the two places.

 

The monthly stipend for Hong Kong Scholar will be around HK$30,000 per month.  While half of the stipend will be paid by the Hong Kong Supervisors, the other half of the stipends will be supported by the Mainland Government up to a period of 2 years.

 

Faculty members who are on full-time faculty positions at the rank of Associate Professor or above, holding funded research project(s),  and is willing to provide training positions may be eligible to apply.  For details, please refer to the information on the program and application here.
